The Founders Affiliate of the American Heart Association is recruiting to fill a Finance and Customer Strategies Assistant position to be based in our Robbinsville, NJ office. This position provides administrative support and coordination for the Finance and Customer Strategies Teams. Essential Duties: ' NJ primary batch header preparer and scanner ' Credit card processing ' Helping with expense budget reporting ' includes filling data into reports and sending to Regional Vice President (RVP) to monitor Development expenses ' Working with RVP and Finance team to resolve issues once expense budget reports are sent ' Update Work Order list every two months ' Updating and maintaining Work Order roll-ups. Make required changes every time someone moves positions, when new hires come on board. ' Coordinate Heart Walk money counting after Heart Walks in Robbinsville office ' Assist Accountant with monthly invoicing ' Back-up for Accountant in entering sponsorship agreements in E1 ' Back-up for Customer Data Entry Associate in entering sponsorship agreements in SEMS and Blackbaud systems ' Verify cash deposits in Robbinsville ' Scan/save 'paid' sponsorships from 'R' drive to 'S' drive ' Assist Accountant in researching receivable payment questions in WIA and E1 ' Assist Director Finance as requested. Required Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and ability required. Two years experience in executing administrative support functions. 2. 1-2 years of experience with bookkeeping and/or basic accounting skills. 3. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, often time sensitive environment, and has the ability to multi-task and organize a heavy workload. Ability to work with minimal supervision. 4. Possesses excellent problem solving skills, comfortable with math and adept at processing numbers appropriately. 5. Above average communication and customer service skills. Ability to convey a positive and professional image. 6. Able to compose correspondence, edit work for spelling and grammar, and present end product in a professional and visually appealing manner using AHA graphic standards, where needed. 7. Advanced skills in all MS Office software applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point. 8. Ability to 'lift and/or move 25 lbs. 9. Satisfactory background checks including consumer credit, motor vehicle, and criminal history. Education: An Associate's Degree and/or other training in administrative/office functions; and/or a High School diploma and at least two years experience will substitute for the requirements above. Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
